This website is my baby. Since 2001, I have been the webmaster for the Indiana Courts website, working in the office of the Indiana Supreme Court Division of State Court Administration. This iteration of the site is about five years old and in desperate need of a makeover — visually and technically — which is in progress and will take great effort to complete. However, the current layout is very flexible and allows us to easily and efficiently publish all sorts of different information — which is key. The courts have a lot of information to publish, especially documents, and it’s very difficult to organize. That’s one compliment we often get for this site — that information is easy to find — and we’ve even won a couple of government website awards as a result.
If you’re looking at this site as an example of my personal work, please keep in mind that this site is a collaborative effort, and I cannot take sole credit for it. I supervise a team of developers, work in tandem with several other development teams, and of course, all of the staff at the Court and its agencies provide the content for the site.
What I can take credit for is the website design, the content organization, and the hiring of the excellent members of my team. I have also managed several application development projects, several of which will be relaunching in coming months. At that time, I will post separate items covering those applications.
